Token Allocation & Distribution
Bakeland is at the core - an experiment on new forms of mechanism design. The distribution of $BUDS reflects the same - keeping in mind the need for deep liquidity across multiple networks. The team shall allocate the necessary supply to seed investors to fund the game's development and growth. All partners involved in the seed round shall be strategically chosen and important to the project's long-term maturity.
The public token sale aims to reward early supporters of the project and decentralize ownership of the protocol by granting them access to the token at an FDV close to the seed round valuation. The remaining tokens will be used for in-game rewards, staking rewards, liquidity mining incentives, partnerships, liquidity pools, and team allocations. Shown below is a tentative outline of the $BUDS token release schedule, which could change prior to TGE. We value transparency and changes will be communicated immediately.
