Token Utility

$BUDS acts as the heart of our game economy. It has the following uses:

• Transactional Utility:

  • Primarily, $BUDS acts as the standard medium of exchange within our game and marketplace. While game functions will support native tokens across supported networks, fees paid in $BUDS for initiating raids will be lower. This ensures that demand-side users willing to speculate and invest in the success of the game would find the token to be closely tied to the project's performance.

• Burn and Mint:

  • Secondary game assets may only be minted by burning the $BUDS token. This mechanism seeks to balance the supply release of staking rewards.

• Governance and Participation:

  • Furthermore, as Stake and Bake moves towards establishing its DAO, the $BUDS token shall take on an additional role in governance. Token holders shall be empowered to propose, discuss, and vote on critical updates and shape the future of the game.

• Staking:

  • Our dynamic staking rewards algorithm is designed to offer lucrative, gamified yields to smart users. $BUDS stakers will be prioritized in the allocation of ecosystem rewards.

  • The Chain Loyalty Campaign will be announced in Q2 2024. This Campaign will seek to reward long-term stakers on single chains.

The game revolves around acquiring $BUDS. Players may either:

• Grow $BUDS in farms

• Seize $BUDS as the police

• Earn $BUDS by completing missions
